Hi and welcome to my listing for this super rare Datsun 280C Estate/Wagon.
Finished in metallic bronze with a matching brown interior, it is in very well preserved condition throughout.
Starts, runs and drives well but being offered as a light recommissioning project due to little recent use.
The 2.8 litre engine is smooth and responsive and the automatic gearbox works as it should. There is a slight exhaust blow which could do with attention and it may benefit from a tune-up.
The bodywork is very straight and solid with no signs of major corrosion. There is just the odd age-related mark and imperfection here and there.
The paintwork is excellent and has a nice lustre to it which looks great especially in the sun.
The interior is in lovely original condition, it has been very well preserved and looked after. It was well equipped for its time with power steering, electric windows etc. The speedo has stopped working recently.
The engine bay and underside both look to be in good solid condition.
Comes with 2 keys, a good sized history file which contains: original owners manual, old MOT certificates, invoices/receipts for parts purchased and work done, period model brochure and additional booklets, even its original Datsun warranty form! Also comes with spare parts as well as a matching picnic set.
Registered as a historic vehicle so MOT/tax exempt, cheap to insure too!
