Hi and welcome to my listing for this lovely early chrome bumper MGB.
Finished in Tartan Red with a Black interior w/matching red piping, this example still presents very well today having benefited from an older restoration.
It starts, runs and drives well. The engine is responsive and pulls well, the gearbox and clutch both operate as they should do, the brakes work but are a bit spongy due to a lack of recent use so may benefit from some light recommissioning
The bodywork presents well and is very straight and solid with just the odd minor bleb here and there.
The red paintwork is nice and bright and in good condition, it has just the odd age-related mark and imperfection here and there.
The interior is also presentable and useable with matched black leather seats with red piping, they show some wear as expected for the age and there is a split to the passenger seat. The carpet set and door cards are in good condition.
The engine bay presents well and is in good solid condition.
The boot floor and underside also look to be in good solid condition.
Registered as a historic vehicle so MOT/tax exempt, cheap to insure too!
Comes with 2 sets of keys and an extensive history file containing: a large quantity of invoice/receipts for work done and parts purchased over the years which amounts to thousands spent, photographs before, during and after its restoration, Haynes workshop manual, owners club material and more.
