Finished in ‘Magenta’ purple with a black interior, this example presents well for its 55 years of age having been subject to an older restoration, which included a repaint around 20 years ago.
It has only had 3 previous owners from new and appears to be an honest and useable example.
It starts easily and runs & drives well with no untoward noises and seems to be in good order mechanically.
The bodywork is very straight and solid with no major damage or corrosion.
The paintwork is in good condition overall and being an older respray, has had time to mellow nicely, there is just the odd age-related mark and imperfections here and there.
The interior is in very good useable condition and looks to be very original.
The engine bay presents well and the underneath looks to be quite solid.
As with all classic cars, the Beetle will likely require ongoing work/TLC.
Comes with a good sized history file containing owners manual, original service booklet which contains 32 stamps!, a large quantity of invoices/receipts showing work done over the years and parts purchased, a large quantity of old MOT certificates, old tax discs. It also come with spare parts, spare wheel, tools and a car cover.
Registered as a historic vehicle so MOT/tax exempt, cheap to insure too!
