Finished in Metallic Red with a red velour interior, the car presents as a good useable example and has been fitted with the rare manual gearbox.
It starts, runs and drives great. The 3 litre straight 6 engine is smooth, responsive and pulls along nicely. The manual gearbox makes for a nice change from the slush box auto’s that these are usually fitted with and completely transforms the driving experience.
The bodywork is generally straight and solid but does show the odd bit of bubbling and previous repair here and there.
The paintwork is presentable but does show some cracking in places and the odd age-related mark and here and there.
The interior is a real highlight of the car and is a sea of crushed red velour, very 70s and quite unique to Vauxhall at the time, the seats show barely any signs of wear and are very comfortable, it is a lovely place to be.
The engine bay and underside both look to be in good solid condition.
Registered as a historic vehicle so MOT/tax exempt, cheap to insure too. HPI clear.
