1947 Buick Super 8 – Rare Restoration Project – £6750

Hi and welcome to my listing for this rather rare Buick Super 8.

This car apparently featured in the 1959 film ‘The Last Angry Man’ and is showing only 1 UK keeper since being imported here in 1981.

Starts, runs and drives, but being offered as a restoration project which will require full recommissioning inc. brakes etc before use.

It is fitted with the 4.1 litre ‘Fireball’ straight 8 engine and manual column shift gearbox.

The bodywork is in solid condition overall and looks to be mostly complete, the chrome work looks to be in good order.

The paintwork is reasonable but does show signs of previous repairs, as well as age-related marks and imperfections here and there.

The interior is in good, presentable condition and looks to be largely complete.

The engine bay and underside look to be quite solid.

Historic vehicle so eligible for MOT/tax exemption.

Comes with old style V5C showing 0 previous UK keepers since ’81, a CD of the 1959 film ‘The Last Angry Man’ in which this car featured, printed film poster, parts catalogue.

A £250 non-refundable holding deposit secures this car.

We can assist with delivery for an additional cost, once the car has been paid for.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for looking.
