Hi and welcome to my listing for this Series 2 Jaguar XJ6 4.2.
Offered as a ‘rolling restoration’ project, this example will require at least some recommissioning before returning to the road.
Starts, runs and drives but has not been used for a little while so is currently running from an auxiliary fuel container, the fuel pump points are believed to need a clean. The engine sounds nice and the gearbox and brakes are working as they should.
At some point it has been resprayed in metallic purple but was originally brown with a cream leather interior.
The bodywork is reasonable overall but the car will require attention to the wheel arches and sills, apart from this, the underneath looks to be quite solid.
The paintwork overall is decent but does show the odd age-related mark, bubbling, and imperfection here and there.
The interior and the seats in particular are in decent, useable condition however the headlining has been pinned up as is par for the course with these old Jags.
The engine bay is in good condition and looks to be complete.
Comes with spare parts including the air box.
