Finished in Teal Blue with a Tan vinyl interior, the car is in reasonable condition for its age – fundamentally it is a solid and useable car which would benefit from some cosmetic TLC.
Starts, runs and drives very well. The engine is responsive, the gearbox, clutch and brakes are all operating as they should and it has working overdrive on 3rd/4th gear. It is in good mechanical order and has been recently serviced.
The bodywork is average, there are numerous ‘battle scars’, the worst being some dents on the nearside door and rear quarter – some of this may pull out.
The paintwork again is average, it presents ok from a distance but has various age-related marks, imperfections, and micro blistering in places.
The interior is good, the tan vinyl interior is nice and shows little wear, it looks to be very original and complete. It could do with a new carpet set but you can see that the floors are solid. All gauges are in working order.
The hood is in very good condition with no damage and fits well.
The engine bay and underside both look to be in good solid condition and it has recently had some rust-proofing applied.
Overall then a good driving MGB Roadster which would suit someone that is looking for a classic they can use whilst they improve, or just use as is.
Registered as a historic vehicle so MOT/tax exempt, cheap to insure too! HPI clear.
