Only produced for 2 years in Australia, it is thought to be the only one in the UK and possibly Europe!
Finished in brown with a cream vinyl roof and matching interior, it presents in excellent condition throughout, especially for its 54 years of age.
Running and driving well, it has just completed a 260 mile journey without issue. The smooth straight 6 engine sounds glorious, and the gearbox and clutch are both working as they should.
The interior is in lovely clean condition, with the seats and upholstery showing barely any wear at all.
The underside is equally excellent, it is very clean and solid (see photos).
It is fitted with matching Michelin tyres all round with whitewall trim, which along with the Rostyle style wheel trims and bright chromework, makes the car look very smart indeed.
A very nice touch is that it still has its Aussie plates underneath the UK ones, so these could be displayed at shows should you wish to do so.
Registered as a historic vehicle so MOT/tax exempt, HPI clear.
Overall a unique variant of the much loved ‘Landcrab’, although rare, it should still be an easy classic to upkeep as it shares a lot of parts with the Austin/Morris 2200/Wolseley Six.
Comes with 2 sets of keys, workshop manual, a good history file which includes paperwork from its time in Australia, a quantity of invoices and receipts showing work done, old MOT certificates, Aussie registration and import documentation, period promotional material, old photographs, club correspondence, as well as several boxes full of spares.
