Hi and welcome to my listing for this rare Wolseley 6/90.
A rolling restoration – the Wolseley starts, runs & drives, but as it has not been used much recently, it would benefit from some light recommissioning.
It is powered by the 2.6 litre ‘C series’ straight 6, similar to that used in the Austin Healey 100-6, with an usual right-hand floor mounted manual gearchange.
It presents ok from 10ft away but the paintwork is rough with numerous poor repairs on almost every panel, I think it looks quite cool as it is though, and it may not bother you if you like a ratty appearance.
Used as Police pursuit cars back in the day, this 6/90 may have been one of them although there is no proof sadly. It does come with an in car telephone, as well as a siren ready to be fitted should you wish to recreate this!
The interior presents well, the carpet set is good and the seats are very comfortable with a patina in keeping with its age.
Although tatty on the outside, the underside looks to be surprisingly solid (see photos).
Comes with BMIHT certificate, old MOT certificates, hand written notes, old V5cs.
As with all classic cars, this Wolseley would likely benefit from ongoing work/TLC.
