1953 Standard Vanguard Phase II Overdrive – Very Original & Useable Classic – £4995

Hi and welcome to my listing for this lovely Standard Vanguard.

This example presents well and is very original, it looks great with its shiny chrome and black paintwork.

It is running and driving well and has been in regular recent use with its current keeper. It is in good mechanical order and benefits from working overdrive for comfortable cruising.
The bodywork is very straight and solid overall with just the odd imperfection here and there.

The paintwork looks smart enough however close-up, there are various areas of crazing and some micro-blistering, as well as the odd age-related mark and imperfection here and there.

The interior is in wonderful original condition, with a nice patina that only comes from age and careful use, it has been well looked after.

The engine bay presents well and the underside looks to be quite solid.

Comes with a wonderful history file consisting of: original order form correspondence, a large quantity of invoices/receipts showing work done and maintenance over the years, old style buff logbook, old MOT certificates dating as far back as the late 60s, a Classics Monthly magazine where this car was featured in a 6 page-spread in 2012, owners club material, BMIHT certificate, even a Sunday Times newspaper from 1953, the year this car was registered!

Registered as a historic vehicle so MOT/tax exempt, cheap to insure too!

A £250 non-refundable holding deposit secures this car.

We can assist with delivery for a reasonable cost, once the car has been paid for.

Any questions, feel free to ask.
